Land Park is a neighborhood bordering Downtown Sacramento and Midtown Sacramento. It is a thriving urban community where residents can find whatever they need nearby. The community of Land Park is engaged and active. The Land Park Community Association has a full roster of events and a large number of members. Some of the events include summer block parties, movie nights at Land Park’s Outdoor Amphitheater, and live music at the William Land Golf Course.

A favorite local establishment is Vic’s Ice Cream, an old-school ice cream parlor that opened in 1947. Anyone looking for a cold glass of craft brew can find it at New Helvetia Brewing Company. Their buffalo lager, homeland stout, and thunder beast IPA are just a few of the amazing craft beers on their menu. The brewery also has an event room that can be reserved for private parties.

The Sacramento Zoo is a wonderful experience for the entire family, as it is home to hundreds of exotic animals. The zoo is open year-round and hosts several events to introduce the animals of the zoo and to educate the public. It’s always exciting to see the African lions soaking up the sun or the meerkats playing with their families.

Anyone looking for a great game of golf will enjoy the course at William Land Golf. They have a beautiful nine-hole course that plays through William Land Regional Park, as well as a restaurant and a pro golfing shop.

William Land Regional Park is one of Sacramento’s historical sites and encompasses 160 acres. It is the home of the Sacramento Zoo and an amusement park for children called Fairytale Town. There are also amenities for outdoor recreation, including an amphitheater, ball fields, and playgrounds.
